Leslie Donaldson is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work is inspired by her northern Michigan roots and her childhood experiences in her father's taxidermy studio. Working from found objects and graphic patterns, Leslie develops small sculptures and installations which she then uses to create symbolic characters as works on paper.

Leslie graduated with a BFA from Michigan State University and an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has held artist residencies at Vermont Studio Center and Oxbow. Her permanent residence is located in Traverse City, Michigan.
